Our newest addition!

We are happy to welcome our little Wyatt Paul to the world! He was born Saturday, May 30th at 10:20 pm, weighing in at 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 19 inches long. I was certainly happy to welcome him 3 weeks early!! He is a precious baby...rarely cries and is just as sweet as can be. :) We are so in love! Even Henry is very curious about Wyatt and is constantly asking questions about him all the time. I'm not positive, but we could be close to actually taking a picture of them together! For now, we will settle for "interested."

We are doing well, just trying to get as much rest as possible during these two weeks that Jim gets to be home with us. We are all certainly blessed by Jim, who is taking control of the house, food, diapers, you name it. I am so well cared for and so are my babies. He is truly an amazing man to and for me and is so in love with our boys. So okay, there have been some tears. But they've all been happy tears because I know what I have. A wonderful, wonderful family. Healthy happy boys. A happy marriage. A great and faithful God.

Here are some pics of our brand new baby on the day he was born...enjoy!

And now...back to resting!

SO CUTE.... so what happened...did your water break or did the contractions just step it up a knotch? Glad you are resting and are being taken care of.

Congratulations! He is beautiful. Give Henry as much time as he needs. Someone told me a great story about adding a new baby to your house. Imagine, your husband comes home one day and says, "Guess what? I am getting a new wife. She isn't here to replace you, just to make your life better. You'll love her. She will help you around the house, help you cook, do laundry. Oh, and she'll share your car, your clothes, your computer, your cell phone. She's really great. And I may need to spend some extra special time with her because she is new to the area. You don't mind, do you?" Make sure you and Jim both spend some quality time alone with Henry (and with Wyatt). It's tough since the baby is months away from playing with him. But it really is worth it when they start to really interact and play together.

I'm so impressed that you are blogging already! you are doing so well and look amazing, and it's not just the make-up, you... yourself are a natural beauty.

I need some more Wyatt time, maybe I can come for a visit one night on my own just to hold the baby.(:

Keep taking care of each other. you all are loved.
