Deep thoughts from the bathtub...

Henry (playing with a GI Joe man in the bubbles): Mommy, why does his foot move like this?

Me (bored, let's be honest): Uh...I dunno. The guy who made him just made his foot that way.

Henry: Who made him?

Me: Uh...I don't know, honey.

Henry: Probably God made him.

Me: Well, actually, a person made him.

Henry (looking at me as if I am clearly not well): No, mom. God makes everything. He made aaaaaall the animals. And the moon.

Me: Well, God made the person who made the doll. He makes all the people in the world and he makes our minds and helps us be really creative and make things like dolls. Isn't that nice of Him?

Henry (blank expression): Probably God made him.

Me: Probably.

That's funny, I think that "God made the moon and stars" was a memory verse from school. It's so funny to hear what they absorb. Sure love that kid.(;
